Do we eat food or it eats us?

When we think or talk about food, we usually experience only positive emotions, excluding situations when we tell somebody that we have overeaten or have eaten something stale. We like to discuss different dishes, recipes, drinks, table appointments, etc. Usually these talks provoke appetite and we are ready to implement all our culinary fantasies to life. Food can bring a lot of pleasure indeed. But this pleasure can be justified only in case this food is healthy and can't do harm to our body. Unfortunately, the tastiest food is the most harmful. This refers to various smoked and roasted meat dishes, chips, etc. We try not to think about all possible negative consequences which can be caused by our favourite dishes. These thoughts spoil our appetite and prevent us from enjoying the moment and our life in general.

But the truth is that our favourite food is not simply unhealthy, but really dangerous for us and can lead to various serious diseases. Of course, it doesn't mean that eating unhealthy food will inevitably cause diseases in future. It depends on personality. There are a lot of people who are predisposed to some diseases; there are also people, whose health is so strong, that nothing seems to spoil it. You can never know where threat is hidden. Unfortunately it can also be hidden in your favourite food.
We don't propose you to give up eating something and don't advise you to eat something you don't like. We simply call you to learn more information about food you eat and make a sensible choice. If you get to know all disadvantages of popular food products and decide to ignore them, this choice also deserves respect. But if you make your choice blindly, it is the wrong way.
Maybe after having read everything written in this site, you will begin to suffer from unnecessary phobias and will be afraid of food. It is also an extreme, which is opposite to conscious ignorance about what you eat. You should stick to the golden middle. You should simply take into account this information but not to pay too much attention to it.
