Sweets

Sweets are loved by young and old. They are eaten on high days and holidays and in week days. They are eaten in the morning, at dinner and in the evening. They are eaten for dessert and even instead of food. They are extremely popular and this popularity seems to last forever. What makes them so popular? Of course, their taste! Children are also attracted by their bright cover.
When we talk about chocolate sweets, we should start from their main ingredient - chocolate. Chocolate is very healthy and can make us feel better, i.e. cheer us up. The most valuable is dark chocolate, as it can reduce blood pressure and facilitates absorption of sugar contained in food by our digestive apparatus. Chocolate can be harmful only in case it is eaten in large quantities. Reasonable eating of chocolate won't bring you any harm. All this is true about real chocolate which is rarely used for sweets' covering. This type of covering is not a chocolate in the true sense of the word. It contains a lot of substitutes and aromatizers, taste enhancers, etc. That is why discussing sweets it is useless to talk about chocolate healthiness. It is more relevant to talk about harm caused by chemicals which are included into sweets. In this respect chocolate sweets and fruit drops have much in common. Unfortunately! Both fruit drops and chocolate sweets are extremely unhealthy and can do a lot of harm to us. They affect negatively our stomach and intestine, irritate mucous membrane, etc.

Sweets' filling is even worse. It is often very poisonous and toxic. Manufacturers are often unfair and hide this information from consumers and make us live in a state of blissful ignorance about what we eat together with our sweets. The majority of sweets contain heavy metals and substances which can cause cancer and other serious disturbances. Sweets are especially dangerous for children, as it is very hard for them to digest all unnatural components, which are widely represented in all kinds of sweets. Even very famous brands are given to it. You'd better avoid giving sweets to little children. If they don't know their taste, they won't ask you to buy them.
